Karen & Students from 2007 MayfestCelebrate Spring with MayFest!

You are hereby invited to this fun social event!

Socialize and be merry, hear toe-tapping music, find a good read, and win big. Light refreshments offered. (Artisan jeweler Jerry Bohnett, award-winning photographer Bob Finks, and Denise Wootton, handcrafter of original bead designs, are donating door prizes!)

Something Else BandThe Fellowship School of Ministry (FSM) is proud to present Matt Bliton and the lively music of the Something Else Band in this annual celebration of spring, and the school's primary fund-raiser. Come dance, partake of delicious food and friendly conversation, browse our "bookstore," and line up to receive a fabulous Fellowship hug at our hugging booth.

The school's purpose is to support personal and spiritual development, resulting in the ordination of ministers, the development of teachers/leaders, and personal enrichment opportunities for the community.

Further, it is to advance the philosophy of the Fellowship for Today through creating a learning environment that facilitates the development of healthy relationships, spiritual community, spiritual unfolding, intellectual, emotional, physical, community, social and spiritual healing.

Its curriculum teaches the history, practice, and essence of various spiritual paths and religious traditions. The only New Thought Center in the area that ordains ministers, the school, directed by Rev. Karen Arndorfer, also offers a separate track for those who choose not to pursue ordination.

FSM students who will complete their studies in early 2009 are Delyth Balmer, Bob Finks, Brad Miller, Vee Nash, and Denise Wootton.

MayFest raises funds for school equipment and scholarships for students to attend classes and seminars. Through your kindness, and with your attendance and donations of books and food, the school raised $2,000 last year.

We will graciously accept your loving contributions of books and edible treats (desserts and finger foods) to help make this year's celebration a success. As always, your gifts are very much appreciated.

It has become our tradition to ask that you share your generous gifts as love offerings to support the school and its purpose. Receipts for tax purposes will be available on request.

We look forward to seeing you at MayFest!
