FINANCIAL UPDATE

At the beginning of this fiscal year, we set an ambitious goal for the growth of the Fellowship. Even though we had a significant loss last year, as well as a large drop in member contributions, we had faith that we could reverse that trend with the help of our membership. While we have two months to go in the fiscal year, I am pleased to announce that our member contributions are again back on track with our historical averages, and while we are still showing a loss, we are only $8,000 behind our budgeted goal for the year. With your continued support during these next two months, we stand a good chance of whittling that loss even further.

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE

Steering Committee Treasurer: We are seeking a new Steering Committee member to serve as treasurer. This volunteer should have a strong financial background and experience with accounting software. Duties include: overseeing our financial operations, making recommendations for improvements, and providing necessary checks and balances. Time required is about four hours per month, plus attendance at the Steering Committee's monthly meetings.
