Artist WayCalling All Co-creators: An Artist's Way Sampler

Reconnect with your inner artist! Free your creative inner child! Have fun expressing yourself, your way! The Artist's Way a recovery program for blocked artists, uses spiritual practices familiar to many of us here at the Fellowship. In this three-week introduction (or for some, a refresher course) you'll learn principles and exercises to examine and blast through fears that keep you from enjoying your own creative nature.

"It is my experience," says Artist's Way author Julia Cameron, "both as an artist and as a teacher that when we move out on faith into the act of creation, the universe is able to advance. It is a little like opening the gate at the top of a field irrigation system. Once we remove the blocks, the flow moves in."

Learn how to establish and maintain a supportive environment to help release the ego's hold on your natural, creative nature. Get a jump start on creating your own ongoing group so that you can dive deeper into this effective 12-week program.

This class, facilitated by Janet Skole and Matt Bliton, both experienced Artist's Way practitioners, will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 16, 23, and 30, in the Social Hall, downstairs.  Cost: $30
