Fellowshipian Keith Shafer Memorial

Our dear Keith Shafer made his transition on Saturday evening, January 19. A memorial service and reception was held on Wednesday, January 23rd at the Fellowship. Rev. Karen Arndorfer led a beautiful service, sharing insights into Keith's life as well as amazing quotes by some of Keith's favorite teachers. Lucille Olson played one of Keith's favorite hymns. Family and friends shared stories and memories of Keith's beautiful and courageous spirit.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the memorial service and reception so beautiful. An extra thank you to both Deborah Goro and Janet Skole for their skillful coordination.

Keith's family sent us a card with the following message:

Thank you - Fellowship for Today Church Members. Your support came in many forms. The visits to Keith, the treats in his room, the hugs to the family and much more. The willingness to spend the evening so family could go home one night. Picking our sister up at the airport was such a help. All of this along with your love of Keith was a blessing sent by the Lord. You gave us so much support and comfort. Thank you so much.
